The blade is sharp, hard, and built to withstand the salty, acidic kitchen environment. It has a Rockwell Hardness rating of 58+, so it keeps an edge for longer. The ink-black titanium coating gives it stealth and appeal, as well as added corrosion resistance. Each Dalstrong blade spends between 30-60 days being painstakingly hand-sharpened by expert craftsmen using Dalstrong’s Diamond Detailing (D3) method.
Serious high-tech went into the Night Shark handle. Two incredibly durable, heat-resistant plastics are contoured into this super comfortable, ergonomic, textured handle. It feels rough like shark skin, clinging to your palm even when wet. A deep index finger “choil” divot means your grip will never falter. And despite all that texture and shape, it’s still one of the most stain-resistant and easy-to-clean surfaces technology can provide. A fierce blue streak runs through the otherwise matte black handle.
