0Alright Radiant Stars, we've battled through The Drug war aaaaaall the way back in NARC, and now we're fighting crime itself! Today's game is THE PUNISHER, another Capcom Classic!
Released for arcades in 1993, this was actually the FIRST Marvel arcade game Capcom released. While it did get a home port on the Sega Genesis, apparently it didn't do too hot, and the game was lost to the sands of time (outside of emulation). Fortunately, Capcom released the "Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics" which includes a port of THE PUNISHER.
Taking the role of either The Punisher or Nick Fury, you take to the streets in order to take out the tyrannical reign of Marvel's fearsome villain: The Kingpin. There's lots of crooks, lots battles, and lots of weapons to be had. For sure a great entry in Capcom's storied collection of beat 'em ups!
This video's been sitting on deck for a while as I was planning on doing an arcade review first, but I might be ditching reviews in favor of returning to just straight up Let's Play format. Hence me calling y'all Dazzlers instead of Radiant Stars in the beginning.
