0The start of my playthrough of the Heavensward Warring Triad trial series storyline!
An enigmatic young envoy named Unukalhai arrived at the Rising Stones and has warned us that he, and his mysterious master, have sensed that ancient primals (beings which the Allagans called ekions) that had been imprisoned in Azys La threaten to awake from their slumber.
These eikons are known as the Warring Triad, and were summoned long ago in defense of Meracydia, the southern continent, to fight against the might of the invading Allagan Empire during the third Astral era.
In Thordan's breaching of Azys La, our clash unknowingly weakened the chains that have long held the captured beings. They cannot be left to break free and wreak havoc upon the realm! Thus do we, Unukalhai, Y'shtola, Urianger and Krile move out to Azys La so that these eikons may finally be felled, and their threat put to rest. However, we are not the only ones who move about Azys La, as the Garlean Empire still has a vested interest in the Allagan technology held within.
