The Way of the Bow – Defending Hiyoshi Springs | Ghost of Tsushima - Part 8
0In Ghost of Tsushima, The Way of the Bow is the fourth Ishikawa Tale, taking place in Act 1: Rescue Lord Shimura. In this mission, Jin Sakai teams up with Sensei Ishikawa to defend Hiyoshi Springs from an impending Mongol attack. The attack is led by Ishikawa’s former student, Tomoe, who has been training Mongol archers.
The mission begins at Ishikawa’s dojo in Hiyoshi, where Jin meets the sensei and gathers information from the local peasants. After scouting the battlefield, the two warriors prepare for battle as the Mongols launch their assault. Using both bow and blade, Jin and Ishikawa fight to protect the town and eliminate the invading forces.
Upon completing the mission, players receive several rewards, including a Minor Legend Increase, the Charm of Immunity, Storming Falcon Vanity Gear, and Flaming Arrows. This mission also continues Ishikawa’s storyline, deepening the conflict with Tomoe and setting up future encounters.
