1Welcome to The Witcher 2: Assassin of kings. You play as Geralt of Rivia a demon hunter for hire and a good one at that. You lost your memories after your death (see the witcher 1) but have managed to regain some of them. after saving King Foltest's life from a would be assassin with the eyes of a witcher you are enlisted as the kings personal bodyguard and go with him to the front lines of a battle.
