In this chapter, Geralt finally enters Old Vizima, finding the city in flames and both the Order and the Scoia'tael just as interested in the hide of the Neutral Witcher as in each other's. Although the witcher still ends up assisting both the Squirrels, led by Toruviel and Zoltan, and the Order, led by White Rayla and Siegfried (NOTE: these are alternative paths incompatible within a single gameplay), his primary mission is to secure the safety of the local hospital, run by Shani and a bunch of suitably sexy nurses; but as he guides Shani through the swamp cemetery in order to reach the cave of the druids, he finds that things are pretty bad on all fronts, with regular monsters on the roam and a new brand of mutant monsters appearing seemingly out of nowhere. Side lines include a face-to-face encounter with the Grand Master of the Order and a friendly reunion with Kalkstein, who gives the Witcher instructions on how to procure the powerful set of Raven's armor.
