The Witcher: Monster Slayer is a mobile spin-off of the uber-successful fantasy RPG series. Instead of playing as franchise stalwart Geralt, this game is fronted by you, the player. You see, this is one of those AR games where you wander around with your phone out while virtual monsters jump out of thin air and try to slap the screen out of your hands. We've seen a bunch of franchises follow in Pokemon Go's foosteps - Ghostbusters and Harry Potter to name only 2 - but none have managed to capture the success of Niantic's creature collecting cultural event.
