- You can now go to the Shibuya River and complete the last Reaper blockades. Other than the fact you can receive a very rare money pin, you shouldn't write off this section too quickly because...
1) If you set the difficulty on Easy and keep coming back to that last one Reaper, you can easily grind for the Gourmet Rice Ball, which is hands down the best food you can feed your party to gain extreme boosts to your stats (10+ on ATK, DEF, BRV, and 100+ on HP) doing ONE battle to consume. Compared to grinding for little singular boosts that take more time than the rice ball, you'll save a whole lot of time. (You can buy the rice balls from the condiments shop at Shibu Dept. Store, but you need 30 pieces of each of the three unique materials gotten in this day only, and those can take much more time than simply rushing into the river).
2) More likely than not, you'll hunt for Rare Metals. It turns out the Trail of the Bygone has those purple bat Noise (in the bug-like symbols, not the frog symbols), and they come in droves. Using the right pins, you can get over 30 pieces of Rare Metal in one battle alone.
3) Moreover, the frog Noise are always going to be the Taboo Noise variants, making this place the top spot to grind for Shadow Matter pieces.
- Clearing A NEW DAY also allows you to complete the different tasks for all three sections of the scenario.
- To mark the fact you cleared the day, Coco will show up in your "Deeds" menu.
- As far as this walkthrough is concerned, next up is ANOTHER DAY, which had already been in the game since the DS version.
