I messed up *once* and I can't go back easily to that point in the game :-(.
By the way, the shortest path graph black numbers are the number of ways to traverse the areas where multiple choices are possible, the graphs that are bordered in red are the checkpoints, and these are only given on the top section of the graph, which is how I solved the puzzle.
