In a world of Fortnite & Minecraft, the beauty of survival horror or even horror-like games has been fading in recent years in favor of more trendy tik-tok-looking games. At one time, the most popular YouTubers were most known for their horror game playthroughs. PewDiePie, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye and more are most known for their early horror game niches before they expanded (which is something t series or David Dobrik never did.) Playing Resident Evil has always been like lo-fi ASMR to me, its both relaxing and exhilarating as it activates my Joe Rogan gorilla brain.
