Welcome to the Writer Reads Chapter 1 series. Today’s chapter is the first in the second novel in my Mack ‘n’ Me ‘n’ Odyssey series, Mack ‘n’ Me: Blaedergil’s. This novel is a stand-alone science fiction space adventure set in a series that has been variously described as ‘grim dark in space’ and ‘a dysfunctional Firefly’. It is possibly the darkest novel in the entire series and is definitely not a romance.
