The X Files Flute Cover (Main Theme)
Flute Cover of The X Files Main Theme. Composed by Mark Snow. Cover arranged, performed and produced by Claire Holdich.
Originally airing in the US from 1993-2002, The X Files followed the story of FBI Agents Mulder & Scully as they investigated paranormal cases labelled as 'X Files'. The show was a hit both in the US and the Uk, winning many awards during it's original 9 year run, including for the use of music which was extensively used throughout the series. Composed by American composed Mark Snow, the main theme iself was released as a single in the UK in early 1996, peaking at number two on the UK Singles Chart.
As a teenager, I was a huge fan of this series so to finally create my own version of the iconic theme is pretty out of this world! I hope you enjoy it, and the video which was very much inspired by the feel of the show itself.
This cover is dedicated to my good friend and fellow X-Phile Leanne - thanks for the memories of sharing our mutual love for the show!
