After the resurgence of his 1992 unreleased single "I'm The Yodeling Gangster" which gained popularity on YouTube, with many lauding him for his pioneering of the yodel rap genre, The Yodeling Gangster took to his very own studio in his bar to record a new song; the first time in over 30 years.

The song was produced by Shiro Sagisu, whom The Yodeling Gangster reportedly contacted after hearing his song "Misato" from the Neon Genesis Evangelion soundtrack, and asked to use it for an upcoming song. Sagisu, an admirer of The Yodeling Gangster's work, offered to instead produce the song himself and re-imagine "Misato" as a rap beat.
