The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles - My Favorite TV Shows
One of the best TV shows from the 90s was The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, a show created by George Lucas that aired on ABC and chronicled the life of Indiana Jones from the time he was a child through to his young adulthood, and tied into the overall films in the franchise. Eventually, the show was re-edited down into 2 television films under the title The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones.
It's a fascinating look into the long-term vision Lucas had not only for the character of Jones, but the idea of historical documentaries. They filmed 94 of DVD historical documentaries in the early 2000s that were aquired by the History Channel as tie-ins to the Young Indiana Jones show and the Indiana Jones films.
It's absolutely worth your time for a re-watch if you've not seen the episodes since they originally aired, and given how evergreen the content is you could also watch it for the first time and expand your knowledge of the Indiana Jones character!
