The big problem with the youtube partner program is that small creators and channels on youtube are being punished for the actions of HUGE channels irresponsibility and mistakes. With Logan Paul's latest drama and punishment from youtube, Advertisers are AGAIN becoming more and more wary of working with youtube's creators due to the volatility and potential bad press it could bring their brand and products.

This is understandable, and youtube is adjusting the partner program to help lower the possible maitenance, cost or potential relevance of its smaller channels as a response. This seemed wildly odd to those aware of the situation, as it further shows a discrepency between the perceived favoritism and preferential treatment youtube shows its top stars.

Unlike many other times, this has sparked a huge outcry from one of the largest communities on youtube, the #smallyoutubearmy which has made it vehemently known that they feel undervalued, undersupported and now almost PURPOSEFULLY excluded from a fair chance at making it on the platform.
