I've been thinking a lot about the Yu-Gi-Oh community lately, and I've come to the conclusion that a lot of us might be suffering from a bit of Stockholm syndrome. We complain about Konami's management, the constant power creep, the sky-high card prices, the questionable ban lists, and the endless stream of products. Yet, we still keep coming back for more.

It's not because we're blindly loyal to the company. Most of us don't even own the expensive cards that everyone talks about. We're just genuinely passionate about the game. We still find joy in building decks, dueling with friends, and competing in tournaments.

Sure, we might get frustrated with Konami's decisions, but that doesn't change the fact that we love the game. I think it's important to be critical of the game's flaws, but we shouldn't let that overshadow the fun we have playing it.
