The next location on our Nostalgic excursion will take us to Logger's Point! The second oldest map in the game, this place offers Mule Deer, Whitetail, Feral Hogs, Coyote, Pheasant, and even Bobcat! Even though Dula generally takes new hunters through a guided tour that take them from north the south, our first hunt here went from south the north, starting us off in Mule Deer territory, then phasing into Feral Hog at the power lines, then Whitetail deer up by the three lakes!
This session ends up being a little shorter than our usual, due to the time we end up having available, but it ends up being quite exciting from the start when we run into the "Three Brothers"! Like the "Five Brothers" at Refeather Falls involving five bull Roosevelt Elk that travel together as a herd, the "Three Brothers" are three exquisite Mule Deer that travel together, both at Logger's Point and Timbergold Trials. I manage to take down the second largest right off the bat, while Dula wounds the third largest, which ends up giving us a heck of a run in order to locate him. Along the way, Dula ends up having a face-to-face with a rather ornery Feral Hog in much the same was as I generally have with the Bison at Whiterime... it mows him down! Although short, this ends up being a hunt to remember!
