The seemingly unbeatable sales numbers for the PS2 at over 155 million may never be broken, but if there was one console to give it a run for its money, it's the PS4. However, I find it unlikely this will actually happen.

Here's why: it's all about the money. Unlike the PS2, the PS4 will probably never reach the low sub $100 price that made the late end of the PS2 something special.
