They Always Run | Dark Souls like Sci-Fi Combat Game

My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review.
In this episode I try out another Metroidvania game called They Always Run. This game places you in the role of Aiden, a Three Armed Mutant Bounty Hunter who was betrayed and left for dead by a powerful criminal boss called the Black Marshall. Aidens quest for revenge will take him accross a variety of locations accross the galaxy as he hunts down the most vicious criminals with the biggest bounties. Along the way you will uncover a conspiracy to wipe out the three armed mutants and find a way to save your people
They always Run takes inspiration from classic platformers and mixes it with a Dark Souls like combat system similar to titles like Blasphemous and Dead Cells. The game also has some very artwork mixing traditional pixel art with more modern techniques. I highly recommend the game for fans of platformers or of games like Dead Cells.
