🏢 Government Power | President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Workers' Party) commented this Wednesday (October 8, 2025) on the possibility of the vote on the Provisional Measure (MP) alternative to the IOF (Tax on Financial Transactions) expiring.
The president said that the National Congress has helped the government and that he cannot complain about the work of the Houses.
The Workers' Party member reinforced that the discussion should not be used for electoral purposes and stated that anyone who refuses to vote will be voting against the interests of the Brazilian people, not against them.
