The first Thief 4 gameplay details have been revealed, thanks to Game Informer. Thief 4 will be released on PS4, PC and other next gen consoles in 2014. This video covers several of the details given about the gameplay of Thief 4, including the way enemies and guards will behave and where they will look for Garrett. Also revealed here is the fact that each area of The City will be an open environment, with multiple entrances to each room. This essentially means that the player can tackle a certain objective, target or task however they wish.
Thief is designed heavily around the idea of stealth, with Garrett having several tools and abilities at his disposal to distract guards, blow out candles in order to increase the protection of the dark, and a bow and arrow for silent killing.
