This Banned Streamer is Suing Twitch
Do any of you remember PhantomL0rd?
Well, way back in the day, PhantomL0rd, or James Varga, was a relatively popular CS:GO streamer. And then, he got banned. Allegedly because he was running a rigged skin gambling site.
And then, years later, he sued Twitch.
Now, that’s all pretty standard knowledge at this point, but last week, a judge ruled that PhantomL0rd’s contract with Twitch was “unconscionable” and that he’s entitled to sue for a lot more than we thought.
