This game, however, plays with another gimmick entirely. Metal Gear Solid 4 for the playstation was an entry into the famed franchise created by Hideo Kojima. Solid Snake himself is an icon that stands to this day. Well, one boss in the game, Screaming Mantis, is a callback to a Psycho Mantis boss fight where you need to unplug your controller. If you try to do the same thing though, things don't end up working out quite as well.
