This Corsair case has a problem you need to know about
402Prawn here with a look at the Corsair 6500X. A case that is generally pretty awesome looking, but has a serious problem you need to know about before you buy or build in it. Especially if you're doing what I'm doing and building in it with a rear connect or BTF motherboard. While doing this with the ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-BTF WiFi and the Corsair RM1000x Shift PSU, I discovered it's possible to shred the 8 pin CPU power cables and dangerously expose the bare cable. Obviously this is seriously bad news as it could make your PC a real killer.
Sure. This is niche. If you're not using a rear connect motherboard or aren't planning on using any SSDs or HDDs in this case then you won't have a problem. But it's still worth knowing in my opinion.
Otherwise, there are some small complaints I have about this case (that I partly covered in this video before • Corsair 6500X build with NZXT F360 fa... ) but it's generally good and looks magnificent from the front as you can see.
