140THIS Could RUIN Need for Speed Unbound Multiplayer. Need for Speed Unbound was announced a few weeks ago and already we know so much about Need for Speed Unbound in just a short amount of time. Such as Need for Speed Unbound's Car List, we have also seen several Gameplay Trailers for Need for Speed Unbound, as well as receiving a new a trailer each week! We are also getting new gameplay of Need for Speed Unbound every week as well! In addition to all of this new info on NFS Unbound, we also are getting frequent Under The Hood Articles for Need for Speed Unbound.
In the latest Under The hood Article for Need for Speed Unbound, it touches on the Multiplayer aspect of NFS Unbound. Such as how speedlists, PVP, and the open world will work. While we don't know everything about the multiplayer, such as what the multiplayer cash from the Need for Speed Unbound Pre Order Bonus will be, we do know that unfortunately, Parties in Need for Speed Unbound will be limited to a max of 4 drivers.
I have recently been hosting Open Lobbies on Need for Speed Heat, a game in which parties are limited to 8 drivers, and that still feels limiting. Limiting to only 4 drivers in Need for Speed Unbound will be even worse and I feel it could damage the multiplayer ecosystem long term if this is not changed post launch.
When it comes to everything we know about NFS Unbound so far, this is just one L out of many W's that Criterion Games and EA have earned themselves so far when it comes to Need for Speed Unbound. Need for Speed Unbound looks great and the atmosphere with Need for Speed Unbound looks awesome, let's just hope that Criterion Games and EA can turn this L into a W.
