Valve just posted something small, that could end up being something HUGE for cs2. Everyone can have their own opinions about when CS2 is going to be released, but this recent news could really impact the release of the game. Before I get into any information, please like and subscribe to help make my YouTube journey possible. Anyway, back to the video.

Earlier Today, Valve posted a video with professional CSGO player Ropz titled “What counter strike 2 secret is Ropz hiding”. To quickly summarize the video, Ropz asks the question “Are you losing faith”. He explains how the lord (Gaben) moves mysteriously, and that you will only be rewarded by being patient. As a Counter Strike fan, this is very confusing as “time” could really mean multiple things for the next update for cs2.

When Valve means “time”, I personally believe it could be hinting at 2 things. One of them could be us being physically rewarded by waiting more time. This could result in us receiving more content with counter strike 2’s release such as a new operation, a new ranking system or more skins. I don’t know how likely this would be, as the game was promised to be released over the summer, but we will never know. The second option is that Valve could reward us for waiting all this time, and we should expect more content soon.

I have no connection to Valve, so I don’t have a true answer on what their plans are, but these are just some theories I have. Let me know what you think about cs2 in the comments.
