This fan-game is FILLED with all sorts of customizable goodness!!!
2Have you ever wanted to play a simple game of 'Pac-Man'... with "Pac-Man Jr"? Or have you ever wanted to play 'Pac-Man Super' with "Game Maker" graphics? Well allow me to introduce you to a very customizable fan-game called "Pac-Man Megamix", which allows you to play ANY game of Pac-Man in ANY way possible... through your own choice alone! (And it's replayable!)
When I first discovered this game, I didn't really know what it entailed at first. I thought it was just gonna be a newer version of Pac-Man... but when I dove straight into it, the first screen I was greeted with wasn't the title screen. The game takes you to straight over to a customization menu, which allows you to choose how you'd play a game of "Pac-Man". Have you ever wanted Pac-Man to move a bit faster than he usually does? Or have you always wanted to play the game with neon-lighting, or even in "Plus Mode"? Well... you now have the option to-- and it only changes the experience by a minimal amount!
And that's not all! As you progress deeper and deeper into the game... you'll eventually discover that all of the intermissions within' the game have now been completely revamped! [The video doesn't really emphasize how fast the game goes, though. The game is supposed to run at a steady frame-rate of 60fps, but my recorder kept acting up during my very first playthrough of the game itself. The footage you see here is good enough on my standards, but I'll try to improve the quality of the footage next time.] The intermissions now have stunning visuals to go along with the aesthetic you choose, and it's incredibly satisfying to watch them unfold! [I see they've taken a few shots at creating a unique experience, too. X3]
