This is the most underrated GTA clone of all time, and it needs a remake. The Simpsons hit and run

Many people call this game a GTA clone because, for its time, it held many of the same elements as GTA but in Simpsons form, but confining it to just a GTA clone undersells the rich personality the game has of its own. As a kid, this was the most fun game I had ever played. Hit & Run had everything you could ask for in a 2000s classic—crazy car chases, tons of side missions, and of course, the iconic Simpsons characters. But what made it truly stand out was its humor and attention to detail.

It was like watching the best episode of The Simpsons ever, but in this episode, you get to live in the world, and that was amazing.

For its time, this game was beautiful, but I often find myself fantasizing about just how good a remade Hit and Run game would look today, and based on other remakes like Battle of Bikini Bottom, it would look supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Now, there was one esteemed gentleman who was working on a Simpsons Hit and Run remake, but unfortunately, we won't be able to get our hands on that, so until the day comes, we wait.
