On display in the Nintendo Store in New York there is a Game Boy that survived a bombing during the golf war between 1990-1991. A medic had stored his Nintendo Game Boy in his barracks and it was later trapped in a fire due to a bomb blast. Later the handheld console was found and sent in for repairs, and to the amazement of the repair technicians it actually still worked!
