Sooooo.... I stumbled upon Remedy's games through Stupendium's peak song on CONTROL around like 2 years ago. I had ZERO idea Alan Wake even existed until last year where the sequel came out. Apparently, to better appreciate CONTROL, it was highly recommended to play Alan Wake first. So here we are!! Entering with super low expectations to end up BEFUDDLED by how amazing this game is.

Not only does this feel like a great story to experience before the mind-bending nature of CONTROL, but holy frick does this game excel in almost every way. The mystery is fantastic which hooked me from the beginning, the gameplay was unique and dynamic enough to make me lose track of time WAY TOO EASILY, the characters felt so real along with the unique setting. Solid 9/10 all the way through.

Btw this video is barely edited because It feels like I'd be interrupting how much it acts like a film with all the dialogue and story. but ANYWAYS, CONTROL IS NEXT. CAN'T WAIT TO "SLIDE INTO THE VOID" AS EMPHASIZED IN STUPENDIUM'S SONG.
