Honestly you can use whatever equipment for this fight there really is no actual fighting for this one.
Tips:
The key to this fight is patience. Look at the dragon gods eyes when they are yellow you are good when they are red he’s about to attack. Hide behind the pillar’s. I’m not sure if the cloaking spell and thief ring help to not be detected or at least slow down the detection of the dragon God but I used them just in case. Better to be safe than sorry. Stay behind the pillars clear your path and move on best advice I can give you!
