This is How You DON'T Play Metroid Dread Squidmas Aran Edition
46Oh yeah folks, the Squiddo is back from a 3-4 month sabbatical and ready to get back into exposing the biggest failure in gaming and the ultimate example of how not to play video games; Darksy DePhil.
This time round, going from one Nintendo playthrough to another, it's on one of the most popular series for Speedrunning (and setting records), Metroid. It's latest episode, Metroid Dread had without doubt taken the whole worldby storm since it's massively surprise announcement in E3 last year and has sold well and given extreme positivity (although some including Bots, Ponies, PayPigs and a certain David Jaffe gave the game a right thrashing for the wrong reasons). After skipping the game for nearly 2 months, Phil Burnell would finally cave in the pressure of finally playing the game and as it is a non-linear Metroidvania game (not to mention that Phil is a pussywhipped, gushing mangina who is afraid to even admit to his wife that he is a both a soyboy and gay and because it also has a female lead character), expect Phil to struggle and be handheld, soil his diapers over losing to PHAZZLE BHASSES and the E.M.M.Is, being oblivious to the backstory of Samus Aran and not knowing about how Samus was raised by the Chozo and having Metroid DNA in her (after the X Parasite nearly killed her in Metroid Fusion) and of course, the amount of stupid excuses like dropped inputs, the price of the game (I don't see why it's not worth £50/$60), the boss fights and even getting hissy over a certain 'Gamer Word' that he slipped out while trying to reconstruct the name 'Arnold Schwarzenegger.' Hope you'll enjoy the madness of this playthrough and hopefully look forward to an update for my channel soon. ^_^
