Welcome back to another video! This is my review of the brand new Gen:Lock Update patch notes, which is the next update that will becoming to Paladins this summer! There's a lot of great things in this update, from the new champion Rei, to the new collaboration event pass featuring skins for Maeve, Viktor, Kinessa, Lex, and Zhin, modeled after characters from Gen:Lock! There's also two new skins for Vatu and Evie, and there's also some interesting QoL updates, like old VGS lines returning, 3 bans in ranked, and the return of the Bounty Store! The balance this patch is pretty spicy too, with reworks for several different talents and fantastic changes such as Tyra damage reduction nerfs and the removal of Grover's ability to vine to allies, which makes his vine more reliable!
