The first competitive fight between humanoid robots took place in Hangzhou, eastern China, an unprecedented event that brought together four G1 robots from the Chinese company Unitree Robotics.

Each robot, 1.32 meters tall and weighing 35 kilograms, was remotely controlled by humans using voice controls and commands during the matches, which simulated hand-to-hand combat in a ring, with rules inspired by contact sports.
