The system, which comes by default with XFCE, a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX -like operating systems, and then with GNOME desktop environments, is also available with a server version. The new version, which is stated to have made visual and functional improvements in the Pardus software center application, includes visual and functional improvements in the Pardus live installation application. While it is stated that Pardus 23.1 is the first intermediate version for Pardus 23.0, it is said that improvements have been made to the system to improve compatibility with the Pardus GNOME desktop environment and the XFCE login screen (lightdm). Configured on the 6.1.0-17 Linux kernel, the system includes updates containing over 200 packages and patches. While the default video player has been upgraded to VLC 3.0.20, backports versions have also been prepared.

The default internet browser Firefox version has been increased to 115.6.
The default office application “LibreOffice” has been updated.
The default video player VLC version has been updated to 3.0.20.
Backports versions have been prepared.
Server version has been prepared.
Vagrant and docker images were prepared.
Linux Kernel version upgraded to 6.1.0-17.
Updates containing over 200 packages and patches were brought to the installed system.
Over 2000 packages have been updated in the repository.
