This looks like an Automobelista Remake for android and Pc - A new CELL SHADING Racing game

This here reminds me of this amazing Cell Shading game on GAMECUBE called AUTOMOBELISTA. Insanely hard to run on Android. wasn't possible up to a Snapdragon 865 or so. Now, with the new chips like the snapdragon 8th gen 3 or Elite, we have the possibility to run them perfectly, but I wished there was a real offline playable android version.. and guess what? seems like we are getting exactly that.
HIGHWAY WARRIORS 2 ( https://jreo.itch.io/hw2 ) seems to aim for a recreation of these genre. Especially older Japanese Drifting games in general it seems.
In this version it seems you either have a random gen Map generator built in, or I just haven't seen any map repeat yet. both are a possibility. There are multiple iconic Japanese Drift Street cars and you can choose between a Free Ride mode without any enemy drivers or you can drive a Roguelike variant.. run and win as many races until losing once..then it's game over.
The graphics are absolutely fantastic. only issue I have is the lighting. there should be some form of illumination more than the two small circles in front of the car when driving in tunnels. Other than that it's almost the same like in some PS1 games but with way higher resolution. pure nostalgia throwback imo.
Then we have the sound.. oh my God the sound.. IT IS PURE ART. This motor sound when pressing accelerate.. you HAVE TO HEAR THAT. This is absolutely amazing sound design and a reason to play this game alone.
I'll let you try for yourself now. please support the developer if possible. it would be amazing to get this game finished.
