This has happened a few times now, but this one really hurt! losing my Parallax "Sanguine" Energy Assault Rifle.
To be clear I was trying to store the weapon off the floor but couldn't get the radial menu to work correctly it was either opening a menu for weapon in my hand or kept closing no matter what I tried to do and it closed I guess while hovering over swap weapon causing the game to chuck my Parrallax on the floor but it went straight through it.

I assume this is a bug with the inventory & looting system. CIG really need to iron this out before adding more content I feel, because a lot of the current content revolves around looting but the inventory system is horrendous!
