This time it's for real...
With all the assists finally out of the way (if you make a hardcore sim, then please make it without something as idiotic as steering help at least) it was time for some proper drifting practice. Would recommend to everyone mapping those pests off the functional keys for good, or you could end up activating some accidentally (just like I did before the previous Camaro video).
A much, MUCH better feel now (obviously). Still, drifting in AMS is a huge amount of work (could be the G27 wheel?).
Noticed something strange going on at the edge of lock sometimes (around 5 degrees of the wheel travel, both sides). Some steering compression maybe? Anyhow, that region seems to develop non-linearity at times, so I tend to lose all confidence while closing on it.
