The sub genre of horror games called mascot horror is one of the most popular sub genres of horror. Five Nights At Freddy's, Poppy Playtime, Indigo Park, Garten Of BanBan, Finding Frankie and so many other games have come out of this genre and exploded in popularity. Honestly I understand it, I think Mascot Horror games if done right are some of the best horror games i have played!
Bendy And The Ink Machine is one of my favorite Mascot Horror Games. The setting immediately had me hooked and once I was in the game and playing the atmosphere did not disappoint. Each Chapter in my opinion had it's place and did a great job in conveying the story and explaining the world. The few boss battles there are seem to flow well with the game play and serve as a nice break from the spooky atmosphere that Bendy And The Ink Machine maintains through out the game. Bendy And The ink machine is one of my favorite Mascot Horror Games only matched by Indigo Park!
The sequel Bendy And The Dark Revival improves upon so much from the original in my opinion. The atmosphere is creepier, the graphics are so much more polished and the narrative is fantastic. I was not expecting this game to be Bendy meets Bishock but that is exactly what I got and it is amazing!
