This Was Not What I Was Expecting | Endless Waves Survival
1Endless waves survival is a bullet heaven that has waves. Before a run, you can choose the difficulty between Easy, Normal, and Hard. Each wave adds a new enemy, and if you die, you can continue with all your stuff and full health at the start of the wave you died on. Also, when you level up, you can choose any upgrade you want, or you can level your stats. You also buy items and consumables with gold.
I thought this game was similar to other bullet heavens because it has the Roguelike tag on Steam. But this game feels more like a wave-based survival game. It is a good game, for only $1, and if you get it on sale, $0.50.
Ways to make this game better are:
1) Add a proper Roguelike game mode with random upgrades. You can keep the gold buying game mechanic, make a different one like bosses or mini-bosses drop items, or add chest drops.
2) Add another character with different abilities.
I would like to see something different than surviving waves of enemies with the ability to choose any upgrade.
Overall, I think there is potential here for a very good game. I expect this game will get better when it is fully released and no longer in Early Access.
I probably will not make another video on it.
Endless waves survival is a casual game with roguelike elements, gain experience, collect items, level up and try to survive thousands of enemies as long as you can.
