Back when I was first getting into guitars and learning about the history and allure of Gibson instruments, I made a promise to never even TOUCH one until I could afford it. One day at the Fort Wayne Guitar Center, I was shocked to see a Gibson for ~$400 ish dollars. Technically, I could afford it so I decided to sit down with it. It was a TERRIBLE experience. It was SO bad that I never wanted to review this model, but over 10 years later I finally picked one of these up for documentation. Now I know that the Guitar Center example badly needed set up. I won't lie and say this review piece sounded fantastic - it was just "ok" but now I think of the construction differently. It is a pretty solid guitar, just needs an electronics upgrade!
