7Welcome to a brand new series with Pancake, West and I, SlightliSalti! In this series we will be partaking in a variation of a Cagelocke that we have called an Underground Cagelocke! If you know what a Cagelocke is then you’ll catch on quick, but you still might want to read the rules below to understand the difference. I hope you enjoy this new and chaotic series cause we are having a blast recording it!

Nuzlocke Rules :
1. We are only allowed to catch our first encounter on each route, cave, city…
2. All Pokemon must be nicknamed!
3. If a Pokemon faints, then it must be boxed forever or released.
4. When entering a Major Battle, our Pokemon’s levels may not be higher than the Major Battle’s Ace Pokemon.
Underground Cagelocke Rules :
1. Unlike a normal Cagelocke, Items and TMs are permitted and may be taught at any time.
2. After every Major Battle we will battle against each other in 3 Underground Cage Matches. (Salti vs. Pancake, Salti vs. West, & West vs. Pancake). The first player to beat the Major Battle will get a Bye for the first match and the other two will Battle. The loser of this Battle will then have to Battle the first player. Then the remaining Battle will be played.
3. Each Pokemon that won an Underground Cage Match will be awarded one of three perks :
1) Generate 3 random in game Abilities, you can then choose to either take one of the new Abilities or keep the one you currently have.
2) Max IVs and a Nature change.
3) Hack in any Held Item for this specific Pokemon, this Held Item can’t be removed from this Pokemon and given to another Pokemon, however you can change the item whenever you want!
4. Once a Pokemon has won 3 Underground Cage Matches, they will be awarded a secret 4th Perk on top of the other 3 ; any illegal (non-setup) Pokemon move.
5. Each Pokemon that lost an Underground Cage Match will be considered dead and must be boxed or released.
6. Pokemon of certain Base Stat Totals will be restricted to the number of Underground Cage Matches they May enter :
BST of 580 to 600 : max of 2 Cage Matches
BST of 601 and above : max of 1 Cage Match
Special Rules :
Dupes/Species Clause : If you encounter is a duplicate Pokemon or falls within the same evolution line as another Pokemon you have previously caught, you may choose to reroll your encounter.
Revive = Reroll : Since revives are illegal in Nuzlockes, we have changed them to reroll tokens. If you find one, you may discard any future encounter and get a guaranteed new encounter. (The Item must be thrown away, it can’t be sold for cash).
Max Revive = an Additional Encounter : If you find a Max revive, you may catch your first two encounters on your next route. (The Item must be thrown away, it can’t be sold for cash).

11. Gym 7 : Tate & Liza
12. Seafloor Cavern Team Aqua/Magma Leaders
13. Gym 8 : Wallace
14. Victory Road : Wally
