A casual game of Ranked (yes) where Thresh Top beats the crap out of a Rengar. That's just what it is.

But as I mentioned in (and cut out of) this video/gameplay, this is Silver II, where enemies are of widely varying skills in different areas. Whether this Rengar was good in general, I don't know, I haven't checked his other matches, but he wasn't good against Ranged matchups, and Thresh has good damage, CC and self-peel which is tricky for him. However, a better Rengar with better matchup knowledge, and of course, simply a better/higher elo player would give me more trouble. I will NEVER claim that builds I play are better than meta, nor that they are "new" meta, I just love playing them.

Because the threat of being CC'd and bursted down by the Pantheon in a gank was really threatening, I made sure to take a gamble as to when Pantheon would come to gank, and helped Yi take Crab instead that so he'd help me take out the Pantheon while Rengar is too low (and in this case, too far) to help.

Sunfire being strong is surely non surprise, giving dual resistances, health, and some DPS and waveclear that Thresh likes to have up in Top lane, but Titanic Hydra, now purchaseable on ranged champions and giving AD based on your HP, it gives a LOT of things that Thresh desires, and works really well with his kit and this build.
