A little #ThrowbackThursday for you guys, although not really I guess because this tournament took place about a week before The Dusk Road was released. I ended up with a pretty nice Fire/Justice/Shadow deck with units and weapons sporting Navani. My round 7 opponent is against Kalsir as I attempt to at least make top 8.

For those new, kcbandit wanted to celebrate reaching one million Gold in-game by hosting a Sealed tournament. This was a tournament that was free to enter and had a $300 prize pool since it was the first of it's kind for Eternal. It works very similar to how it does in Magic: The Gathering with a few differences. Each player received a pool of cards at random. The Sealed pools were created via a script with each containing 12 packs. Eight of them were Empty Throne packs (Set 1) while the remaining four were Omens of the Past packs (set 2). Each player had to use whatever they got in these packs with access to unlimited basic sigils to build a 75 card deck. Matches were best of 3 starting with Swiss rounds with a cut to top 8, which is single elimination. Each players sideboard consisted of every single card they got in their pool. Each player had 90 minutes to build their deck after receiving their pool. Each player was also given 2 copies of Seek Power and Diplomatic Seal, which turned out to be huge for this event.
