This stage is so ungodly long and unforgiving. I've attempted many many deathless maniac playthroughs and it always ends here, if not then the next stage is pretty chaotic.

I love this stages track, Metal Squad. The level design really gave off an alien-esk feel that really was cool at the time.

Good god damn, too many sub-bosses.
