Thunder Zone Arcade
21For the men who were born only to fight, who the enemy is and what the place is does not matter. The men who broke into the terrorists secret base find only the battle worth to live and the break-out is their only fun.
Thunder Zone is a top-down run and gun game. The player can choose between four different characters that have different default weapons. Players can move and aim in eight directions, with the first button shooting from the main gun while the second button launches a bomb that's slightly diffenrent to each character which decimates everything on screen. Double-tapping a direction makes character run. Defeated enemies sometimes drop their weapons upon being defeated, which the player can pick up and use. In addition to those, the player can also ride on various vehicles found in the stages.
The game have 5 missions, each has mid-boss and main boss at the end. After completing a mission players get partial health replenishment and spare bomb. There are two bonus stages which occur after certain missions. First is a crawling obstacle course and second is a shooting gallery. Players compete between each other (or CPUs) for the higher rank. Achieving higher rank gives player more spare bombs.
