According to the Wall Street Journal, San Diego is one of the top five cities responsible for 90% of US high-tech job growth. This has led to a high demand for skilled tech talent but not enough skilled workers to fill the roles.

Join us online to talk about the massive tech opportunities in San Diego, and learn how it’s possible for dedicated, serious learners to transition into high-paying tech roles (on average $90,624 according to Glassdoor).

Leaders in the tech scene will discuss their own tech journeys and share career advice. Attendees will also learn how beginners can rapidly skill-up to the professional web developer level with the right training and support—regardless of career background.

Guests will also have a chance to talk with reps from the newly launched USD Coding Bootcamp powered by Fullstack Academy. Fullstack is a Y-Combinator backed bootcamp with the nation’s best student outcomes (think jobs at Google, Facebook and JP Morgan). Its unique, foundational teaching approach has proven especially powerful for beginners.
