So, from the magical world of arcade dump nirvana comes an arcade game I've been hoping for a long time would end up on PC - Time Crisis 5. After Chase HQ 2, H2Overdrive and Batman, this was definitely a 'Top 5' most wanted game for me. The game was apparently dumped by someone called Lee, so thank you Lee! This is running in it's own standalone launcher, so no Teknoparrot or J-config going on here.

I'm a huge fan of rail shooters and I love the Time Crisis games. Time Crisis Razing Storm, which came as a 3-in-1 disc that included the titular game https://youtu.be/HbIRzOncpkw
Time Crisis 4 https://youtu.be/C1XaLwAPETw and
Deadstorm Pirates https://youtu.be/XZ5tMwtl28I is one of my favourite games for the PS3 Moves. I loved the original Time Crisis on the PS1 too and Crisis Zone on the PS2 with the Guncon 2 was great also https://youtu.be/JpPzDD6zC-E

Despite being a huge fan of the series I've never actually played the 5th game, so this is actually my first ever playthrough of it. I'm absolutely loving it so far. Full disclosure here, I've had a few beers before playing this, so my aim's not the best. You need to toggle the crosshairs on at the start of each stage and there were a couple of times I couldn't see where it'd got to when I first started playing...

In my first playthrough though I have encountered one bit of weird behaviour - I got stuck on the very last level. I took out the boss guy, who then makes a run for it, then went into an area with a load of the armoured guys who bounce around, I took all of them out and then the game just wouldn't advance any further. I kept moving from left to right and shooting the entire screen up just in case there was someone I'd missed who was hidden somewhere, but nope. The time just kept running out and I couldn't go any further. Weird, presumably must be some kind of arcade crack related bug.

Usual disclaimer here: Please don't bother asking me for a link to it. You know and I know that stuff like this can't be shared on YouTube. If other channels do it, they do it at their own risk of getting their channel banned.

My PC:
Intel core i5-2310 @2.90GHz - 8 GB
