This is a detailed version of how to construction a building's foundation. In this viewpoint, less of the surrounding area is shown in the time lapse photography, and the foundation is rotated more or less so it is aligned with the same angle.

All buildings need a solid foundation in order to be stable. There are two main ways to construct a foundation. This video shows how to build a foundation using steel girders pounded into the bedrock. At the beginning of the video you will see two tall black objects moving around pounding steel guiders here and there. The girders are gray in color, and are initially stacked together until one by one they are hammered down. Each frame is one day's time.

Afterwards, cement and support is put down around the girders making a solid foundation for building things on top.
