Hey everyone and welcome to another geek corner playthrough.
Todays game is Half Life for the PS2. Originally released in 1998 and ported to consoles in 2001. This game was one of the best FPS games released back in the late 90s. The game has spawned one sequel and multiple expansions. However the PS2 version was originally set to be released on the Sega Dreamcast. But due to the console pretty much going away the development was then shifted to the PS2.
You play as Gordon Freeman who is a scientist at The Black Mesa facility when an experiment goes wrong and opens a portal to another dimension where unthinkable monsters have come into our world. I won't go into too much detail so let's get this show on the road.
